WellTraxx Ltd. was recently featured as a local company benefitting from the attractive business climate in Southeastern Alberta. Working in partnership with Shaw Television, the Economic Development Alliance of Southeast Alberta (EDA) recently developed a series of feature videos which highlighted businesses prospering in this part of the province.
“Both Shaw TV and the EDA wanted to take the opportunity to promote local companies, “explains EDA Associate Director Tracy Heebner. “It was a great opportunity for us to work together, and ended up being a terrific educational opportunity for the EDA as well.”
The EDA, a non-profit organization funded by the City of Medicine Hat, the Towns of Bow Island and Redcliff and the Counties of Cypress and Forty Mile, plays an essential role in promoting the area as a centre of choice to the business community.
“It is our objective to help local companies retain and expand their operations and promote the advantages ass
For WellTraxx, the opportunity to work with the EDA on the project was a terrific opportunity to promote both their business and the area.
“The EDA has been an invaluable business partner for us right from the beginning,” says WellTraxx co-founder Kris Bower. “We are very fortunate to have them as a resource in this area.”
The videos, which will be featured on Shaw TV in Medicine Hat and the EDA website, are the culmination of some outstanding background work by the EDA and top-notch production work by SHAW TV.
“We could not be happier with the finished product,” says WellTraxx co-founder Casey Ziegler. “It was an honour to be chosen to participate in the project, and as a relatively new company the exposure it provides us is invaluable.”
